This adapter will replace the current rubber tip on the short or long encoder shafts if desired to provide more of a friction surface for those applications that require it. The adapter comes with a set screw and TR412 rubber valve stem. The overall length is 2 inches and will slip onto the end of the existing rods after removing the rubber vacuum cap. Any valve stem will thread into the adapter and are available in very small (lawn mower tire stems) to very large (truck tire stems) to meet any friction drive need that you might have.
