C-Guard
The patented C-Guard "smart" module was designed to provide mechanical condition and compressor performance monitoring for critical compressor applications. The module (one per cylinder) accepts inputs from seven primary sensors, including head and crank end pressure, suction and discharge temperature, and cross head vibration plus a crankshaft speed/phase reference and two auxiliary channels for rod drop/runout, cylinder vibration, or additional temperature inputs. All inputs are monitored continuously and the internal processor calculates compressor IHP, rod loads, percent of rod reversal, volumetric efficiencies, capacity, clearances, theoretical discharge temperature, and other critical performance calculations. |

HP-Guard
The HP-Guard module was designed specifically to provide a cost effective, reliable approach to determine actual horsepower load, rod loading, and percent of rod reversal. This is especially important to users who want to "safely" maximize throughput on their reciprocating compressors. The HP-Guard module accepts up to twelve dynamic pressure sensors (6 double-acting cylinders) plus crank angle referenced speed/phase input signals. The internal processor calculates cylinder end IHP, total load, rod load, percentage of rod reversal, and cylinder end volumetric efficiencies. This calculated data, along with suction and discharge pressure and speed, is communicated to the user's PLC or DCS system via standard RS-485 com link. An optional relay is also available for remote alarm indication. |

E-Guard
The E-Guard module was designed to monitor power cylinders peak firing pressure (PFP) and angles. With today's "clean air" requirements, it is critical to know that your engine's power cylinders PFP are well balanced with consistent cycle-to-cycle combustion and no misfires or detonations in order to operate the unit with the lowest possible output of nitrous oxide and carbon monoxide. The E-Guard module accepts up to ten high temperature (A.C.) pressure sensors and provides statistical data on average PFP for each power cylinder, location of PFP, compression pressure and percentage of poor combustion, pre-combustion, and detonations. This information can be accessed by the user's PLC/DCS system via RS-485 com link to inform the operator of the need to balance the engine's power cylinders. An optional relay is available for remote alarm indication. |

V-Guard II
The V-Guard II is Windrock's eight channel vibration module. Each module accepts up to eight accelerometers and can be used as a stand alone vibration monitoring system to monitor either reciprocating or centrifugal machinery or, when connected to Windrock's RS-485 com link, to add additional vibration capabilities to the C-Guard, HP-Guard, or E-Guard modules. As a stand alone device, the V-Guard II can provide eight channels of vibration data to the user's PLC/DCS system via RS-485 com link. An optional relay is available for remote alarm indication. |

P-Guard
The P-Guard data acquisition module chassis provides a very low-cost solution for monitoring static machinery processes such as main bearing, oil and jacket water temperatures and pressures, or any other 4-20mA, 1-5 VDC, relay, or contact closing inputs. The P-Guard chassis can accept up to 128 inputs and can be linked to other On-Guard™ "smart" modules for alarming and trending. |

On-Guard™ Software
The On-Guard™ software is Windrock's monitoring and diagnostic software program which runs on Windows 95 or later versions. Single machine, multi-user, and multiple machine site license versions are available. This sophisticated program allows the user to monitor and trend all data inputs or those calculated within the system, in addition to graphing and printing dynamic plots and reports. It also includes Windrock's "expert" compressor diagnostic module. The On-Guard™ "expert" module provides WinWizard alarms to advise plant personnel of leaking valves, rings, lack of rod reversal, cylinder overloading, and vibration-related events when they occur. These meaningful alarms are powerful tools to the operators and provide clear information for most typical compressor malfunctions. |

AutoBalance™ System
Operators of slow-speed, industrial engines have a new option to help reduce emissions, cut fuel consumption, decrease wear and improve overall machine reliability. All of these benefits result from a properly balanced engine - and can now be achieved using a recently introduced system from Windrock . |
